Jessica joined the Citizen Patriot staff in June as the niche publications writer and editor. She pitches stories, coordinates assignments and writes and edits content for the niche publications and special sections in the newspaper.
Jessica graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism in 2008. She worked on The Big Green, MSU's online magazine, for four years, and served as the editor-in-chief during her senior year. She was also a copy editor of the Red Cedar Log, the yearbook, for two years.
Jessica loves to be outside and enjoys running and playing Ultimate Frisbee. She is perfecting her disc golf game and likes to do crossword puzzles and read.
