Sara Scott is an assistant metro editor. She started at the Citizen
Patriot as a reporter in 1994. She has covered police, education and
city government. In 2000, Scott left to take a position in Booth
Newspapers' Capitol Bureau, covering state government and politics
for eight Michigan dailies. In 2003, she returned to the Citizen
Patriot as assistant metro editor. She has a bachelor's in journalism
from Eastern Michigan University. She and her husband, Eric, live in
Summit Township with their daughter, Elizabeth.
