Lynsy joined the Citizen Patriot in summer 2007 in a new role that
coordinates the paper's special publications such as Lake Living and
Feeling Good, the new health magazine. In addition to pitching and
assigning stories, she also researches for and writes copy. She moved
to Jackson from her hometown of Kansas City, Missouri, and is a
graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia's School of
Journalism. Previously she worked in multiple editing positions at
Vox magazine, Columbia's newsweekly, and was an intern at The
Charleston City Paper in Charleston, S.C. When she isn't reading
magazines, she loves to run and travel — all while listening to
country music.
