Coverage responsibilities include golf and other recreation sports along with high school girls basketball in the fall, volleyball in the winter and baseball in the spring. He also has page-layout and editing duties. He has a bachelor's degree in journalism and political science from Ball State University in 1985. He worked as sports editor at the Hillsdale Daily News for four years, sports reporter at The Muncie Star for five years, and associate editor at the Hillsdale Daily News for about 11/2 years before coming to the Citizen Patriot in May 1995.
