Fredricka is the Jackson and Blackman Township reporter. She covers
everything from their governments to their residents. A 2007 graduate
of Michigan State University, Fredricka studied journalism for what
seems to be the longest four years of her life, but she has enjoyed
most of it. Fredricka worked at The State News on the campus desk,
covering student government and the executive councils. She also
worked as the news editor. During her senior year, she took a
semester off to intern at the Jackson Citizen Patriot. Born and
raised in Detroit, Fredricka graduated from Renaissance High School
in 2003. She loves animals, especially her rabbit, Blackjack. She
also enjoys shopping, spending time with her friends and family,
watching sports and playing tennis..
