Danielle Quisenberry joined the Citizen Patriot in 2007 as a
reporter. She covers the local police and fire departments and the
Jackson County courthouse, teaming with Steven Hepker. She comes to
Jackson from Port Huron, where she worked about a year and a half for
the Times Herald, covering crime and city government news. She
previously worked as an intern at The Muskegon Chronicle, The Bay
City Times and The Grand Rapids Press, where she spent her first six
months after college graduation. She graduated from Central Michigan
University in 2005 with degrees in journalism and art. Outside the
newspaper, she runs, but not as much as she likes or thinks she
should. Danielle also reads, camps and enjoys outdoor activities.
